Sam Thompson is a British television personality, radio presenter and podcaster. He won ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2023 when the British public fell in love with his positive, energic personality. Sam has since gone on to many other broadcast opportunities including becoming part of the ITV This Morning presenting team, and ITV’s Love Island After Sun! presenting line-up.
Sam first rose to fame on E4’s BAFTA award-winning Made In Chelsea, making his debut in 2013 and final appearance in 2021. He has been on many popular and high-profile TV shows including Channel 4’s SAS Who Dares Wins for Stand Up To Cancer, ITV’s DNA Journey and most recently BBC’s Celebrity Gladiators [TX January 2025]. Sam’s next broadcast project include ITV’s Celebrity Sabotage [TX March 2026] and Channel 4’s The Great Celebrity Bake Off or Stand Up To Cancer [TX Spring 2026].
2023 saw Sam release his debut E4 documentary, Sam Thompson: Is This ADHD? which explored his journey with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Being proud of his neurodiversity [ADHD and Autism], Sam became an Ambassador of ADHD UK in 2024. Sam spoke at the 2025 ADHD International Conference and is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the cause. Summer 2026 sees Sam release a children’s book focused on the themes of ADHD and neurodiversity.
Sam is also Ambassador for The King’s Trust and is passionate about supporting young people in the UK and beyond. As part of his role with the charity, he personally met HRH King Charles at Buckingham Palace in June 2025.
2024 and 2025 saw Sam playing for England in ITV’s Soccer Aid for UNICEF. This year Sam became intrinsic to the Soccer Aid family and UNICEF charity programme and projects. Following a trip to Guatemala as their Ambassador, Sam raised over £2million for UNICEF in June 2025, when he ran and cycled over 260 miles for Soccer Aid’s Match Ball Mission. Sam is playing for England again in Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2026.
In 2022, Sam and his best-friend, fellow broadcaster Pete Wicks launched their podcast, Staying Relevant. It hit (and held) the coveted No #1 podcast chart spot and they recently celebrated over 20 million total downloads. In 2025, they won the coveted ‘Best Podcast’ TRIC Award and their Staying Relevant book became an Instant Sunday Times Best-Seller in November 2025. Selling out their live podcast tour in minutes, including the London Palladium, their live show hit its climax at the O2 Arena in September 2025.
Staying on the air waves, Sam can be found hosting his own weekend show on HITS radio every Saturday. A popular radio broadcaster, Sam has interviewed the likes of Brad Pitt, Harrison Ford, and Hugh Jackman to name just a few. Talking of Hollywood, in 2024 Sam had a cameo role in the latest Disney Pixar movie Inside Out 2 which achieved the biggest animated launch week in history.
Sam has worked with a host of global brands including McDonald’s, Coca Cola and Sky to name a few.
Sam lives in London and is also the proud owner of two cats, Albus and Cedric. His passion projects include being the co-founder of Dinelli Sunglasses and Content Jungle.
